[ The wonderful sound of Ajax's voice pulls her out of her sleepy reverie. Fluttering her lashes, she opens them to the magnificent sight of her beloved's ocean hue orbs staring down at her. She hums from the warm touch of his hand holding her head and by instinct, she snuggles up closer to indulge herself in the love of her life. ]
Mmhmm. That has to be one of the best nights sleep's I had.
[ That has to be one of the wildest dreams she's ever had. Their wedding, the battle gauntlet, right down to defeating a god... her hands still feel heavy, as if she's still gripping the bow that won them the battle of the century. Everything is so surreal from start to finish. ]
Good morning, my love. Did you sleep well?
[ Smiling, her hand comes up to cup the side of his cheek, gently pushing his soft ginger bangs out of his face. ]
[Before answering her question, he takes a moment to appreciate the soft brush of her fingers across his face, the warmth from her hand as she cups his cheek. Closing his eyes, he hums happily in response to her touch, before letting his eyes flutter back open to gaze deeply back into the welcoming, warm golden hue of her own. Almost exactly the same way he'd looked into them while saying his vows to her, as he devoted himself in mind and body forever to the woman of his dreams.]
I did, probably better than I have in a while. I was thinking, that perhaps that little charm we picked up last night worked after all. I had an incredible dream.
[He's nearly breathless as he says it, remembering some of the more exciting details of it first. How beautiful the scenery was, that the Tsaritsa herself was there to wed them, and their brilliant battle afterwards.]
It truly was a dream wedding, just as advertised.. Did you have a dream as well?
[ The flutter of his eyelashes, the soft noises thrumming from his lips... his reaction melts her heart right down to her core. She's reminded of the darling expression he made as they declared their eternal love on the altar. There are a few parts of the dream that are a bit hazy to her but one thing's for certain, she'll never forget the loving face he made at her and it wouldn't surprise her if she had the same dream over and over again. ]
I did. That was one of the most amazing dreams I've ever had. Not only did you look like a prince in that attire, you were beyond stunning during our battle.
[ In turn, she stares at him with an expression that mirrors his own, utterly entranced by him, as if he's the most gorgeous being she's ever laid her eyes on. ]
There are a couple of things I would like to ask you. [ But they can talk about that over breakfast. ] But I will say, I'd be thrilled over the moon if we got to have an incredible battle like that at our future wedding, hehe.
[ They can show off their might to all of their guests! Absolute win/win situation for them. ]
[When she looks at him like that, he finds it hard to even think to break their gaze, with how it makes his heart beat harder in his chest. Remembering how unbelievable she looked in that gorgeous Snezhnayan dress, complete with headdress and all, how she fought during the battle and the special technique she'd developed just for him, it all plays through his mind again. He looks utterly lost in her eyes, a rosy hue painting his cheeks as his thoughts flip through every scene.
How smitten is he for her to still have this effect on him months and months later, unable to keep himself from planting a soft kiss to her forehead before finding himself lost in her eyes once more. So much so he barely recognizes that from the way she talks about it, it wasn't just his dream. It sounds like that they had the same dream.]
...Hold on, you too, dreamed of a battle? One where we fought hilichurls, denizens of the Abyss, and even a god?
[That would kind of explain the whole 'couple of things I'd like to ask you' part, because he remembers things that he would not normally even think to mention in front of her getting said inside of the dream.]
[ She softly hums to the delightful kiss, burying her head into his chest to drown herself in his warmth. This peaceful moment is another reminder that this is indeed the life she wants to live, to sleep next to him, to wake up with him every day and spend every waking moment with him... this is the happy ending she wants, to stay by his side forever.
But before she loses herself in the magnificence that is Ajax, his reaction takes her aback a bit. In response, she nods her head. ]
Yes, I recognized the hilichurls. But the blue and red creatures which I assume are the denizens of the Abyss are monsters I've never seen before, along with that... [ she pauses, still trying to wrap her mind around their final opponent. ] god.
[ Doesn't take much to put two and two together, especially since she's never seen those creatures before but it does certainly confirm that his experiences were reflected in their dream. ]
[It probably shouldn't be much of a surprise to him that in a world like this, strange happenings such as a shared dream are possible. Pushing himself up on his arm, he grabs the little charm from underneath their pillows to hold it in front of the two of them as he looks at it, turning it over in his hand once.]
Huh. Who knew this little thing really did have the power to pull us both into the same dream. Guess I won't disregard anyone who has anything has special abilities from now on.
[There's a whole can of worms that got opened in their dream though, and he knows it- so he places the charm back under their pillows for now, telling himself he'll remember to take it out later (he won't.)]
...I'll explain more about those monsters after we get up. I imagine that's one of the things you were talking about when you said you had more questions. Though, I'd like to take a few more moments to remember how gorgeous you were in that dress, eliminating our foes with ease. It might of only been a dream, but you really have come a long way and it's enthralling to watch you fight.
[His hand comes up to brush her cheek, the smile on his face confident with a hint of malice that's reserved for talk of killing strong enemies, mixed with the adoration he feels for her as scenes of Yoimiya dominating those monsters replays in his head.]
[ Watching him, she can't help but giggle seeing him so fascinated by their newly acquired charm. For such a little thing it sure is powerful. Who would have thought that something so small could grant them such a vivid dream that will forever stick with her? ]
Yes, we can talk while we eat. I'll make you an Inazuman breakfast as a thank you for the wonderful breakfast you made for me yesterday.
[ It's her turn to spoil her beau with a delicious meal! ]
You're always too good to me, Ajax. With every moment we spend together, I feel like I'm getting stronger and it's all thanks to you leading me down the path to become a warrior. Our dream spoiled a surprise I had planned for you... I'm still working on it but I promise to have the technique down pat so you can use it to your full advantage.
[ She purrs at the sweet touch of his hand, nuzzling her face into his palm. Although she was hoping to surprise him with that special move during a real fight, she's still happy with the outcome. Showing off her new technique during their dream wedding in the most glorious battle is all too fitting. ]
Mmmm, that sounds wonderful. Sorry your big surprise got spoiled, though. I still appreciated it nonetheless, and I'm looking forward to using it in battle alongside you.
[It was really a splendid surprise, and he gets a little excited about the two of them teaming up to do some amazing things in the heat of battle. It would be fun, they'd both enjoy themselves, and they'd be getting stronger in the process. A win-win scenario.]
Buuuuut, that breakfast isn't going to make itself. Let's get up, I can't wait to see what you've got in mind. You know I love getting to try all the different kinds of food from Inazuma.
[He leans in to give her a quick, but full kiss to her lips, pulling back to admire her for one more moment longer. His finger trails up her jaw with a confident grin before moving to pull the covers off of him, getting out of bed to stretch his back out with a yawn.]
Do you want some help? I don't mind giving you a hand in making breakfast.
[ Just like that, he pulls her into a breath-taking kiss that entices her to empty her mind with nothing but thoughts of Ajax, her chest tightens with excitement at their future prospects. With their combined powers, the two of them will be able to accomplish so many feats together. She kisses him back, pouring all of her love into their shared liplock. When it's all said and done, he leaves her seeing stars. And now, Yoimiya is determined more than ever to prepare a tasty feast for her beloved. He deserves only the best. ]
Help from you is always appreciated! I can show you how to make tamagoyaki and miso soup. By the time we're done, you're gonna be an expert at making them.
[ She gives him one last kiss before rolling out of bed. Her fingers reach out to take him by the hand so they can enjoy their morning with food and the wonderful company of one another.
Thanks to Ajax's kind assistance, meal preparations go without a hitch! Inazuman breakfast is different from Snezhnaya but she has a feeling he's going to enjoy the bountiful meal on the table. A plate full of tamagoyaki, two bowls of miso soup with seaweed and tofu, riceballs stuffed with spicy cod roe and tuna and to finish off their breakfast is a side helping of pickled daikon. Best of all, she gets to share this meal with the love of her life, she's ready to dig in! ]
Ta-da~! Thanks a ton for helping me out, everything looks so delicious. I hope you enjoy!
[An attentive student, he pays close attention on how to make some of the Inazuman foods that Yoimiya had planned for them this morning, making sure to take notes too so he can make it himself in the future. It smells wonderful, the aroma of the miso catching his nostrils and leading him to finally sit down at the table before it all. He doesn't waste time to dish out food onto his plate, first taking a bite of the riceballs and chewing thoughtfully on it.]
Of course. My mouth was practically watering the entire time, [he says with some of the food shoved to the side of his mouth just to talk, abandoning any politeness.]
Mmmmm, it tastes even better than I thought. I wasn't sure about the roe at first, but it's really not too bad. It's a pity I couldn't stay in Inazuma longer when I was there to really get the opportunity to try all of the country's delicacies.
[It's no secret that Tartaglia loves Inazuma, and maybe one day, he can finally go back.]
Thanks for making all this, Yoimiya. You spoil me.
[ The richly savory aroma of the miso soup flooding into the kitchen reminds her of home, a time when she would hop out of bed and enjoy breakfast with her parents. It's not home but sharing this moment with Ajax is sweeter than morning dew itself. Delighting in good food with the person who is her whole world is the perfect way to start off the day. She can't stop smiling while watching him plate up his food, giggling at his attempts to talk with his mouth... semi-full. She appreciates every precious aspect of him, even that he's willing to try crab roe and seems to like it. ]
You're welcome! You've spoiled me more than I can count! So... I wanted to do the same. [ She brings two cups of piping hot green tea to complete their breakfast. Yoimiya leans over the table to give him a kiss on the forehead before finally taking the chair across from him. ] I'm happy to see you enjoying the food of my home country.
[ Chopsticks in hand, she picks up a piece of the golden tamagoyaki, popping it into her mouth. The eggy delicacy is a perfect mix of sweet and savory, melting right on her tongue with every bite. ]
We'll make up for lost time. When we go home, I'll be sure to take you around to try every delicacy Inazuma has to offer. You might even become more of an expert at Inazuman dishes than I am by the time we're done tasting everything.
[His eyes close as she comes in to plant a gentle kiss to his forehead, his smile bright as she pulls away before his attention sweeps downwards to the tea she's placed in front of them. Tartaglia picks it up, sipping it delicately to avoid burning his tongue, savoring it as she continues.
When they go home. The two of them have spoken about this plenty of times before, of what they'll do when they finally return to Teyvat. Shifting in his seat, he looks down at his food for a moment in contemplation- he knows that unless something happens, they wouldn't make up for lost time...because they wouldn't remember that promise to each other.
He tries to keep that sadness off of his expression as best as he can, hoping that she doesn't see it.]
I'll look forward to it.
[After such a wonderful night together, he doesn't want to ruin this moment, picking up his chopsticks to pick up his own tamagoyaki, biting off a piece of it.]
I suppose I shouldn't put it off any longer. I know you have a lot of questions regarding what happened in our dream.
[ Unfortunately for Ajax, she catches the smallest hint of sadness clouding his features. She sits in contemplative silence, pressing her lips together in a thin line to gather her thoughts together. Was it something she said? The reality that they might not remember their time in Ellipsa once they go back home hasn't quite sunk in for her yet. So thus, she's unsure but what Yoimiya does know is that she'll never forgive herself if she gave him any reason to be sad.
Yoimiya is half-tempted to ask but eventually, decides against it. Whatever it is that's bothering him, she trusts Ajax to open up whenever he's ready. He's become the most important person in her life, her heart has long steeled itself to do anything and everything to ensure his happiness. So for the time being, she does her best to put on a smile and seal those worries away. ]
That's right. I'm sure you can already guess I have all sorts of questions about the creatures we encountered.
[ A starting point would normally be a bit difficult when you have so many questions but Yoimiya already knows how she wants to begin. ]
But before we get into that, I was also wondering about the people we saw. That... was your family in our dream, wasn't it? They look like such wonderful people.
[Glad that she's taken the route of addressing their dream, he nods in affirmation. When he thinks about it, that's the first time he's seen his family since they left. At least it was for the happiest moment of his life, or in this case, his dream life- but it still leaves him with a happy memory regardless that it was all a dream.]
It was. They would be ecstatic to meet you, probably in no different fashion than how they acted inside of our dream. They've always been so welcoming, and I know they would treat you just like family.
[The thought sparks a warmth in his chest, of her sitting around the fireplace in snowy Snezhnaya along with his brothers and sisters, laughing as they share stories and play games.]
That was your mother and father there as well, yes? It seemed like everyone was in attendance.
[Even the Tsaritsa...it really was a dream wedding. He almost laughs thinking about it, but he supposes the worst thing that could happen is she'd laugh at him and say no if he asked her to be there...]
[ Yoimiya has always had no problems getting along with just about everyone and anyone she comes into contact with but even her happy, bubbly self can't deny that meeting her beloved's family fills her with the slightest sense of nervousness. Ajax's words of encouragement wash away those fears. Just from what she saw in the dream, they already made her feel welcomed into their family. There's no doubt in her mind they are lovely people and meeting them will bring boundless joy into her life. ]
Yes, that was good ol' Pops and Ma. They'll be thrilled over the moon to meet you. I already know they're going to treat you like part of the family as soon as you step foot into our home.
[ The day Ajax meets her parents will also be one of the happiest moments of her life. She can already picture it in her head, the three of them sitting underneath a yumemiru tree, eating dango, and sharing a good laugh together. ]
I still can't believe even your Archon was there to officiate the wedding. Even in a dream, that was truly the experience of a lifetime.
[He looks forward to the day that he gets to meet Yoimiya's family, not terribly worried about it, but worried enough to put forth his best efforts to make a good first impression. He'd bring gifts of course, treat them to a meal, and do his best to behave. Making a good impression isn't difficult for him, it's even somewhat integral to his job...but fact that he's one of the Fatui's Harbingers might present a problem. Tartaglia doesn't dwell on that too long though, since this will be in the far future, offering a soft smile back.]
Yeah, that might be more telling than anything else about me and how much I respect her...and I'd love it if Her Majesty would actually officiate our wedding, but I wouldn't count on it. She has too many things to do and goals to attain to be bothered by something so trivial as a mortal's wedding.
[But still, he has to agree. That was an experience, and it's too bad it can only ever exist in their own heads.]
Still, I'm glad for that dream of ours let us experience it either way. Sorry if I'm not able to have a swarm of monsters to fight at our real wedding, though. Harbingers have a great deal of power, but not that much.
[ Ajax's respect for his country's Archon is endearing, his pure admiration for his god warms every crevice of her heart. To have the Tsaritsa herself come in and officiate their wedding would be the honor of the century and as much as she would love to see his dream become reality, an Archon as busy as Snezhnaya's Majesty already has so much on her plate. But even if it was just a dream, Yoimiya is happy she got to experience the closest glimpse of the Tsarista she'll ever see. ]
Don't worry, silly. As long as we get to stand on the altar together, it will be the happiest day of my life. I don't need anyone or anything else but you.
[ She doesn't need a glorious battle for their wedding to be wonderful, just Ajax and Ajax alone. ]
Speaking of the monsters... what were those blue and red creatures? I've never seen anything like them before.
[He smiles softly at the response, reaching from his spot at the table to gingerly slip his fingers underneath hers, letting them curl upwards in a sweet gesture. He feels exactly the same way she does, for as long as it's Yoimiya at his side, he'll always be happy. Maybe they can't slay monsters at their wedding, but they can do it when they go out for expeditions, traveling to the most dangerous places in the world. There would be no end to their slaughter, and he can't think of a better way to spend it than with her.
Including killing all of the monsters of the Abyss.]
Those were some of the more powerful monsters of the Abyss Order's army,[he explains, growing more serious now that they're discussing this.] The one you fought was called an Abyss Herald; the one I fought is described as an Abyss Lector.
I'm unsure if you've ever run into denizens of the Abyss before. They can be found all over Teyvat, though they seem have a fondness for attacking Mondstadt outright for some reason, rather than anywhere else. They're the enemy of humanity, lead by their Prince in their quest to wipe out as much as The Seven's domain as they can. I fear that even if they managed to achieve their goals, it still wouldn't satisfy them. It's the one thing the whole world can unite on, whether it be the Knights of Favonius or the Fatui- they must be stopped.
[It's a lot to take in, he knows it. He just hopes that it doesn't affect her too much- knowing that your home could be attacked by abyss monsters usually doesn't sit well with people.]
[ It's certainly a lot of information to take in but thanks to the tender touch of Tartaglia's fingers sliding underneath the table to link with hers, she feels at ease as she responds to the sweet gesture, lacing their fingers together. From the otherwordly vibe they gave off, she had a hunch those creatures were not your run-of-the-mill monsters. Members of the Abyss Order's army... that bit of information was not in the realm of Yoimiya's imagination.
She appreciates that Ajax is taking the time to explain this to her because oh boy, she would have no idea where to begin. Needing a moment to gather her thoughts together, Yoimiya soaks in everything he has to say. Who would have thought that there's a treat so dangerous that even the Fatui and the famous Knights of Favonius could unite? ]
I... [ In a bid for comfort, she seeks the warmth of Ajax, gently squeezing his hand. ] goodness I've ran into those smaller mage creatures a few times and I never really thought too much of it.
[ She shakes her head in disbelief, her view of the world just got blown wide open, that's for sure. ]
I had no idea out there in this world, there exists a legion who wishes to destroy humanity. Is... this part of the Fatui's goals? To put a stop to the Abyss Order?
[It probably goes without saying that Childe is incredibly proud of her for taking on an Abyss Herald all by herself and with ease. Sure, it was a dream, but he has no doubt that those same skills would be on display in the real world as it was in their dream. She's come a long way, and he hopes he gets to see her dance and fight like that more often in the future.
Shifting in his seat to better face her, his other hand wraps around hers to better provide the comfort she's seeking, looking down at them for a moment as he listens to her. He's surprised to hear that she's run into Abyss Mages. They're nothing to sneeze at at all, and the fact that she's alive and well after finding them is telling of her skill. He's just glad that she's okay and safe.]
Well, sort of. Where it's always the goal to fight off the Abyss Order where we can, it's a little hard to scale an offensive against an army based in a land that twists the minds of those unprotected. The Abyss is no place for anyone- perhaps only those who wield Visions might be able to enter, but you know as well as I do how little of these people exist. In the vast scale of things, the Abyss Order would repel us, in the end. It's not conventional to do so. Even the Archons don't waste their time treading in that dark place.
[He doesn't mean to scare her, but he won't lie to her about it. It's a serious problem she may have to face sooner or later back at home, and if they can figure out a way to retain their memories upon returning, it'll all be worth it.]
[ Kindness and love seep from the grasp of his hand. She sighs in appreciation, scooting her seat closer to rest her head on top of his shoulder. So long as Ajax is by her side, there's nothing to fear, not even the terrifying depths of the Abyss can shake her faith in her beloved. She has hope that someday in the distant future, the two of them will be strong enough to take on even the most powerful denizens of that lightless space. ]
A space that not even the Fatui or Archons dare to enter. It's amazing that a place so terrifying exists right under our noses. But, I do think it's quite commendable that you guys try to repel the Abyss Order wherever you can.
[ A place that not even an Archon dares to tread, a space that corrupts the mind of anyone caught off guard. All of those facts are a huge testament to Ajax's strength. For someone as young as him to enter the Abyss and come out alive, his willpower is truly out of this world. But in the end, she's just happy he made it out alive to tell the tale and that they had the chance to meet. ]
That space we were transported to when we were fighting that god. Was that what the Abyss looked like?
[He'll take the compliment, it's not often that when someone speaks of the Fatui, it's positive. To him, it's necessary to fight off the Abyss Order in order to protect Snezhnaya, so it doesn't feel like any kind of praise is necessary. It's just expected. But it's still nice, so he won't sneeze at it.]
Yes, it's something like that. There's far more to it...an entire ancient civilization exists there. Architecture, remnants of some sort of infrastructure...but I'm afraid most beings have been turned and twisted into monsters. There's nothing left there for any civilized society.
Honestly, I'm surprised we fought that god there...perhaps the setting was like that because of my memories of the past. That is where I learned to fight after all, but I always imagined that battle would take place upon the throne of the gods itself.
[It reminds him of what that god said, asking about the gnoses, angry at him for taking away their authority in some fashion...he hopes Yoimiya doesn't remember, it'll make his life a lot easier. But if she does, then there's no point in hiding it anymore.]
[ She tries to imagine the scene in her head. A destroyed civilization crawling with unknown creatures underneath a dark sky where the light doesn't shine. It paints an eerie picture, one that she wishes child Ajax didn't have to witness at such a young age. It's honestly no wonder he grew up with a strong lust for battle coursing through his veins, he had to fight for his life down there. ]
That thought crossed my mind as well. Since it's our shared dream, it makes sense that it would reflect the memories of your past. It will never be like your actual experience but seeing it in a dream sent shivers down my spine. And you experienced it as a kid...
[ A cold, lonely place that no child should have the misfortune to fall into. ]
Was that god familiar to you at all?
[ Regrettably for Ajax, the mention of the gnosis has stuck with her since they woke up. She wishes to ask questions in regards to it but for the time being, she figures treading carefully is a good way to start off. ]
[Though his expression doesn't change, he feels his stomach fall a little bit to make her worry even the slightest about what had happened to him in the past. There's a lot of details of it that he isn't saying, things he might never tell anyone about. It's enough that he's shared that it happened at all. He'd find it cute of her to worry if it had been a situation that he was completely fine in, but the truth of the matter is that he wasn't fine and it would weigh on him to make his loved ones worry.
Ajax moves on to address her question, shaking his head.]
No...
[He gives her an apologetic look, for not being of much help on the god.]
I knew what it was, but I've never seen a god like that before. All I knew is how much I wanted to defeat it, to see how I measure up to divinity itself...I think we both did a pretty good job.
[Ajax's face brightens, squeezing her hand proudly.]
It probably won't be that easy in real life, though. As we are currently, we'd be at a huge disadvantage, even if there's still a chance to win.
[ She nods her head in tender understanding, returning his affection with a gentle squeeze of her fingers. The appearance of the god in their dream feels somewhat foreboding but for the time being, she'll chalk it up to Ajax's imagination conjuring up his dream opponent. After all, fighting a god would be the ultimate challenge for his battle-hungry heart. ]
That's right. Even if it was just a dream, I'm really proud of what we accomplished, our teamwork is on a whole new level. It'll take a lot to actually defeat a god in real life but I have faith that as long as we work hard and have each other's backs, we can accomplish anything together.
[ A bit of a hopeful wish on her part but that's how much Yoimiya faithfully believes in Tartaglia's ever-growing strength. She truly believes that one day, he'll harness enough power to take down a god.
This time, it's her turn to look apologetic, recognizing this might not be an easy topic to talk about. ]
Hey... if I recall correctly, the god in our dream said something about returning the gnoses back to her.

[He leans in to give her a quick, but full kiss to her lips, pulling back to admire her for one more moment longer. His finger trails up her jaw with a confident grin before moving to pull the covers off of him, getting out of bed to stretch his back out with a yawn.]
Do you want some help? I don't mind giving you a hand in making breakfast.
gonna skip breakfast prep!
I hope you enjoy!
perf
You spoil me.
no subject
You might even become more of an expert at Inazuman dishes than I am by the time we're done tasting everything.
no subject
I know you have a lot of questions regarding what happened in our dream.
no subject
They look like such wonderful people.
no subject
He almost laughs thinking about it, but he supposes the worst thing that could happen is she'd laugh at him and say no if he asked her to be there...]
no subject
Yes, that was good ol' Pops and Ma. They'll be thrilled over the moon to meet you. I already know they're going to treat you like part of the family as soon as you step foot into our home.
[ The day Ajax meets her parents will also be one of the happiest moments of her life. She can already picture it in her head, the three of them sitting underneath a yumemiru tree, eating dango, and sharing a good laugh together. ]
I still can't believe even your Archon was there to officiate the wedding. Even in a dream, that was truly the experience of a lifetime.
no subject
Yeah, that might be more telling than anything else about me and how much I respect her...and I'd love it if Her Majesty would actually officiate our wedding, but I wouldn't count on it. She has too many things to do and goals to attain to be bothered by something so trivial as a mortal's wedding.
[But still, he has to agree. That was an experience, and it's too bad it can only ever exist in their own heads.]
Still, I'm glad for that dream of ours let us experience it either way. Sorry if I'm not able to have a swarm of monsters to fight at our real wedding, though. Harbingers have a great deal of power, but not that much.
no subject
Don't worry, silly. As long as we get to stand on the altar together, it will be the happiest day of my life. I don't need anyone or anything else but you.
[ She doesn't need a glorious battle for their wedding to be wonderful, just Ajax and Ajax alone. ]
Speaking of the monsters... what were those blue and red creatures? I've never seen anything like them before.
no subject
He just hopes that it doesn't affect her too much- knowing that your home could be attacked by abyss monsters usually doesn't sit well with people.]
no subject
To put a stop to the Abyss Order?
no subject
It's a serious problem she may have to face sooner or later back at home, and if they can figure out a way to retain their memories upon returning, it'll all be worth it.]
no subject
Was that what the Abyss looked like?
no subject
But if she does, then there's no point in hiding it anymore.]
no subject
That thought crossed my mind as well. Since it's our shared dream, it makes sense that it would reflect the memories of your past. It will never be like your actual experience but seeing it in a dream sent shivers down my spine. And you experienced it as a kid...
[ A cold, lonely place that no child should have the misfortune to fall into. ]
Was that god familiar to you at all?
[ Regrettably for Ajax, the mention of the gnosis has stuck with her since they woke up. She wishes to ask questions in regards to it but for the time being, she figures treading carefully is a good way to start off. ]
no subject
Ajax moves on to address her question, shaking his head.]
No...
[He gives her an apologetic look, for not being of much help on the god.]
I knew what it was, but I've never seen a god like that before. All I knew is how much I wanted to defeat it, to see how I measure up to divinity itself...I think we both did a pretty good job.
[Ajax's face brightens, squeezing her hand proudly.]
It probably won't be that easy in real life, though. As we are currently, we'd be at a huge disadvantage, even if there's still a chance to win.
no subject
