[ On one fine summer morning, Rinne walks into the Valentia's cafe and towards Yoimiya's table, acoustic guitar in hand. Yes, he woke up early for this. Yes, he's going to make a scene. Soon, everyone's clapping along... ]
[ The first day of summer is exciting for SO MANY REASONS but it also happens to be her ✨ BIRTHDAY ✨ Back home, she'd be spending the day with family, friends, the neighborhood kids but it turns out, this world has other plans for her. So here she is, in the cafeteria gorging on a slice of cake. But hey!! At least nothing bad will happen later tonight. Hahahaha... stares at the event
Anyways, Yoimiya is minding her own business, deciding which shops to check out when she suddenly hears Rinne's boisterous voice from across the cafeteria. She looks up to see him with an acoustic guitar in hand and oh, he's wishing someone a Happy Birthday. Oh, he's coming closer and oh, it's her who is on the receiving end. ]
Oh my goodness...! I've been blessed by the famous idol, Rinnepyon...!!!
[ SHE LOOKS SO SURPRISED BUT SO ECSTATIC AT THE SAME TIME. ]
A wish?! Oh um, gosh that's so difficult. But... what I want the most is to see the smiles on everyone's faces.
[ Rinne preens. The famous idol, Rinnepyon... He's nowhere near as famous to deserve it just yet, but it has a nice ring to it! This is why he loves hanging around her. ]
Heh, I like the sound of that. I was hopin' you'd be more specific, but figuring that shit out's my job anyway. [ He strums his guitar. ] Okay! A buncha smiles comin' right up. Follow me, Miyacakes. We got fans to play for!
[ He jerks a thumb behind him. They're heading out! Is Yoimiya finished with her cake... Does he have to eat it... ]
[ Oh! Yoimiya hadn't expected anything else, she truly thought the birthday wishes was more than enough. She looks both started and touched for a moment until reality finally sets in. ]
Eh?! I'm coming with ya? [ DOT DOT DOT ] WAIT, we're playing for fans????
[ SO MUCH IS HAPPENING. But her cake... it'd be a shame to waste food so she's stuffing the last of the cake into her mouth while dropping the strawberry onto the plate but it's fine! Rinne can have the strawberry if he wants. ]
Refs goooo!!!!
[ She says with her hand pumped in the air and cheeks puffed up like a squirrel. Probably shouldn't be talking with her mouth full but here she is...... ]
[ Rinne pops the strawberry in his mouth, but unlike Yoimiya, he chews and swallows before actually shouting, ]
LET'S GOOOOO!!!!
[ And they're off! To the park. Where a lot of kids are waiting apparently! Busking and schmoozing with the locals paid off — he managed to get some help setting up a small stage, where dozens of young concert-goers have gathered, chatting amongst themselves before the show begins. To entice others to join in on the fun, a couple of local vendors are at the venue, too! ... It's really just a kid with a lemonade stand and another slightly older kid selling peanuts... But hey, all Rinne did was ask. Profit? That's not his priority right now. ]
You know any of our songs? [ He's been playing at the Valentia every day. ] You can follow a beat, yeah?
[ He picks a tambourine up and places it in her hands. ]
Oh, and—I know this is sudden, but you've got some firecrackers on hand, right?
[ Yoimiya didn't have the slightest clue where he was planning to take her and as soon they stroll up to the designated spot, she's pleasantly surprised to see the park. But the biggest surprise of them all is what she assumes is a stage standing proud in the park. Astounded, she stares at the small stage with her mouth agape for a brief moment until her eyes glisten with excitement. Sure, it might not be super fancy, and the only stands are a kid with a lemonade stand and another kid selling peanuts, but that only adds to the charm.
In due time, she can picture 3Kon attracting a bustling crowd full of people chanting their names.
But before she stands there with her mouth open for too long, Rinne's voice snaps her out of her thoughts. ]
Yeah! If I happen to catch y'all playing at the Valentina, I always try to watch. I'm not sure if I can carry a tune but I'll be sure to do my best.
[ If she's gonna start idol training, now's the time! In the span of like 0.5 seconds, firecrackers are whipped out of her pockets... which probably violates all kinds of safety hazards but details, details. She'll carry around fireworks with her even when she's old and gray. ]
Here we go! I kind of threw these together on a whim so they aren't as flashy as the ones back home but these little puppies still have a strong POP to them.
